GRR Passages is a transformative program designed to rescue and empower at-risk youth by providing them with an immersive experience in rural nature areas. In a departure from their challenging urban environments, our program focuses on holistic development through a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses self-care, trauma-informed therapy, yoga, group activities, and disciplined learning. By exposing participants to the healing power of nature and equipping them with tools for personal growth, Passages aims to break the cycle of adversity. Through therapeutic interventions, mentorship, and a supportive community, we guide these young individuals towards reclaiming control over their lives. Our mission is to inspire positive change, foster resilience, and to create economic and psychologically self sufficient individuals.
6 years and 57 Passage extractions from the Englewood community, for 140 days out of the community, into nature. Integrating Passages practices in the city informed the development of the Passage process.
Repetitious doses of healing exposures, increase Passenger train ability, and abilities to sustain employment and consistent, independent housing.
The first 35 Passengers (2 Cohorts) affectionately called “The Pride ROC 35” in our 5year study, showed the most consistent Passengers intermittently engaging weekly therapy, and floor disciplines, such as Yoga, improved their quality of life. Now six years later, the line is clear for those that were not consistent in “Doing the Work”, as they now call it.

Organically over the years Passenger to Passenger pull ups, and push ups became pure Passenger to Passenger support and guidance. Advanced Passengers lead the way in all Passage functions, both in and outside the city.
