UPOW are represented by those born into a war they themselves did not start; they simply took their positions as anyone born into a war zone would.
Generations of poverty fueled by system science of oppression, have bred a generation of traumatized youth conditioned and normalized in a culture of petty crime, violence, death and incarceration.
Crude Oil Young Black Men
Crude oil created under the harsh conditions of land and sea, unextracted in this form has little value or use, however once it is extracted into a process of refinement, it has many uses and much value. Young Black men, born and created under the harsh conditions of the urban community environment, in his crude form has little social value or use, however one he is extracted into a process of refinement he reveals much value and has much social use.

Our mission: To provide an employment service eco system of healing & skilling our high – risk Black Men.
The city area of Englewood, Chicago, IL has been distressed by a lack of employment and poverty. We have created an organization of young men who are going through a process of healing that will enable them to be functioning and contributing society figures. We at Pride Roc, call them “Passengers” and they have experienced life skills passages that have helped to transform their inner reality. It is now time to transform their outer reality. Pride Roc Passengers are a pipeline into an absent workforce of service and needs. Investing in the human capital and transforming their community into revived places of working and living is the only way forward.
